This is place where members of the Peacock Families and their relatives and friends can keep in touch, share events and photos and basically act like the big family we are. Some of us have only met virtually, on the Web and by email. The base family root this addresses is that begun by George Stephen Peacock and Mildred Mae Murray and their two children William Donald (Don) and George Raymond (Big Ray). Don had two daughters, Kay and Gayle while Ray had three sons, Raymond, Jeffrey & Mark.
Immediate family members side include the Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina and Georgia Peacocks, although some have had their names changed to Bobbs, Goodwin, Phayre, Sheekey and Sturgill.
Then there are the First & Second Cousins, namely the Copelands, Driscolls, the McDonalds and their offspring who have changed into the Diatolevis and the Lovelys and possibly others we do yet know.
Some of us have our own blogs and websites for business, pleasure or just for the heck of it.
Cousin Patty Sheekey in Massachusetts has put a large portion of the Sheekey genealogy, including in depth profiles on the Don Peacock side and more about George Stephen and Mildred’s forebears on the Web at http://www.sheekey.net/ . She used a wonderful website software, The Next Generation, made just for family trees.
Perhaps we can graft a few limbs onto it to expand. It already has the ancestral Peacock branches.
Meanwhile, we will start with a photo Album or two.
