It is my honor to announce that the site has been updated to a current version of WordPress and nearly 150 spammer inputs (pending) scraped off and many of the spammers banned from the site by the collected web IDs that were tallied by the input filter..

Shortly I will be adding a genealogy feature and more to use to add the huge amount of information about our forebears online.

Meanwhile, The Photo Gallery is open and there are a few files to be seen add more coming. I have tons of them, too.

Why not do this on something like facebook? It’s because of the ads there, the limited flexibility of it and the privacy gains that are available here.

More later.

Hi,

Got the Gallery functions working and it is better than I thought. The only problem that still exists is the fact that the thumbnails are not working for some images, mostly the ones with larger file sizes. I’ll keep at it and figure it out. (Mike figured it out and it’s working just fine now.)

The Gallery view shows the thumbnails, or their place holders. When you click on one you get the image along with controls to move left or right in that photo gallery.

Beth & I went to Massachusetts on July 26th to help celebrate Doug McDonald’s wedding to Kathleen Ames (Kate). We met many old friends as well as re-connected with plenty of cousins and their children.

The wedding was held at St. Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth and the reception was at the Atlantica Restaurant in Cohasset Harbor.

Some of my photos, mostly the better ones are located HERE, a Gallery named McDonald (of course).

Anyone else with photos of the event can post them, too. Just register and I’ll up your authority level to “Author” and then you’ll have access to enter your photos, too.
